Cathedral Live Oak  Trees

Cultivars are Quercus virginiana or Southern Live Oak trees grown from a cutting of it's "mother" tree to copy the unique characteristics and structure of that particular tree. Properly pruned, cultivars stay as consistent (as nature will allow) in the landscape.

We currently have 'Sky Climber', 'Parkside', 'Boardwalk', and 'Augustina' Live Oak cultivars available from 2.5" caliper to 7" caliper: 'Cathedral' 13" to 14" caliper only.

Cultivar Live Oak trees are perfect for: residential, entryways, parks, luxury or commercial applications any place where live oak trees need to be consisent, and where consistent privacy and shade are desired in the landscape design.

**Please note: We currently have two 'Cathedral' live oak tees in 13" and 14" caliper available, and the 'Highrise Live Oak is sold out. These varieties will not return as widely commercially grown cultivars as other more superior varieties have emerged.

Southern Pride Tree Farm’s very big Live Oak trees for sale:

  • Cultivar Live Oaks are a Southern or Standard (Quercus virginiana) Live Oak trees grown from a cutting (or cloned) due to special characteristics of a particular tree.
  • All trees we sell are field grown in an ideal, quality oriented nursery environment.
  • Cultivar live oaks range from 2.5" caliper to 7" caliper, 10' - 24' height, and between 4 and 10 years old.
    - Caliper is the diameter of the trunk of the tree and is the means of determining the price of most commercially grown landscaping trees.
  • Prices start at about $500. per tree (make sure to ask for a quote), bigger trees are more, purchasing in quantities saves!
    - Pricing does not include tax if applicable, transport, or cost of offloading and planting of tree/s at your location.
  • Considering how many live oak trees to buy? We recommend live oaks have a "minimum" spacing of 40' trunk-to-trunk from each other.
