Highrise Live Oak Trees

Live Oak seedlings are the trees grown from the acorns of the cultivars. Cultivar Live Oaks (trees grown from a cutting or 'cloned' trees) offer consistency in the landscape. The acorns of those cultivars allow all the best features of the "parent" cultivar in the "children" or seedlings of the tree. This practice allows growers to provide a standard live oak with a high percentage of cultivar like characteristics as well as some uniquely consistent characters.

The very first cultivar seedling was derived from "parent" 'Highrise' live oak tree cultivars. Currently there are two cultivar seedlings available the Highrise seedling with it's primarily tall and narrow characteristic, and the SkyClimber seedling; a tall, wider, upright tree. Cultivar seedlings are available in size from 2.5" caliper to 4" caliper, or ranging from 10' - 17' in height.

Cultivar Live Oak seedling trees are perfect for: residential, parks, commercial applications any place where the standard live oak trees are preferred but the application wants more consisency, and where shade and privacy are desired in the landscape design.

The Highrise and SkyClimber Live Oak Seedlings offer:

  • The Best Features Of Their "Parent" Cultivar
  • Some More Consistent Unique Characteristics
  • High Percentage of Consistency
  • Height
  • Shade
  • Beauty to any landscape design.
